Chris Huskey is an 18 year-old independent singer/songwriter from Washington, D.C., who grew up around the world -- in China, India, Kenya, and Taiwan. His catchy, acoustic-based pop/folk tunes combine personal stories about life in Taiwan, poverty in Kenya, and the war in Iraq with youthful thoughts on love and living.

Chris is a sophomore at Stanford University, where he's studying music and economics and playing/recording music around the San Francisco Bay Area. He independently wrote, recorded (vocals and guitar), produced, and promoted his first album, "Soldiers, Girls, and Nightmares" in Taipei, Taiwan with help from the Taiwanese band Relax One and the music company MusicFree. A new set of songs with a stronger singer-songwriter style is in the works, so expect to hear the beginnings of Chris' next project over the next few months.
